Hong Kong Runners cross the line again!

Thirty-three people ran the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon races last Sunday (12 February) to raise money for Viva’s life-changing work with vulnerable children.

Well done to all of the runners for taking part in the three different race categories and for raising the profile of Viva in their distinctive blue t-shirts, spurred on by the HK staff team: Justine, Cherry and Kanice.

Three ran their personal best times. Angie wanted to run 10k in an hour and she did it with a second to spare! Jacky wanted to run a full marathon in under three hours, with a donation of HK$1,000 if he finally made it – which he did! And Gillian’s first-ever long distance run has so far raised over HK$30,000.
